La Seu Cathedral
Mallorca is the largest island of Spain and is located in the Mediterranean Sea. As a tourist attraction is not only boasts some of the finest hotels in Spain, but many famous tourist attractions as well. One of our favorites was the Christian Cathedral, La Seu. It is located in Palma and was built on the site of a former Arab mosque. The interior is beautiful with stained glass windows that allow beautiful lighting to spill forth into the large high ceilings. The finished structure is over four hundred years old but was started about eight hundred years ago by King James I of Aragon.
