I know that it is important, when you are traveling, to minimize your travel expenses. No doubt you have taken great pains to secure a room to stay at one of the better London hotels — at a price that is very reasonable. Now that you have found a great rate on your hotel stay, it’s important to control your expenses once you are there — and that means limiting or even eliminating unnecessary room service charges. Before you pick up the phone to order breakfast in bed, I think you should consider the alternative of simply getting dressed and going to the restaurant. Put very simply, room service charges can be very expensive, and they can add up quickly — even to the point of adding hundreds of additional dollars to your final bill. So and be careful of those room service charges the next time you travel.
