Taking picturse of fireworks
Want to take some really great digital photos? Well, there are opportunities everywhere to take great pictures, but the fourth of July provides some great material. Taking pictures of fireworks can make for some breathtaking photos.
However, just taking your digital camera and pointing it skyward during the display isn’t likely to result in photos anyone wants to look at.
There are a few tips you need to keep in mind when taking photos of a fireworks display. First, you need to make sure you set you camera to a slower shutter speed. One or two seconds will usually work great. However, most newer digital cameras these days have a nighttime mode or a fireworks mode which will also do the job without needing to manually adjust your settings.
Another tips is to use a tripod. Since you’re shutter is going to be open much longer than normal, any little movement is going to result in blurry photos. The tripod will keep your camera still and your photos of fireworks clear.
