New ways to save
With gas at four dollars per gallon, companies are looking for new ways to save on costs. The company I work for spreads from Green Bay to Lake Geneva, and commuting to meetings can cost an amazing amount of money. So, they recently purchased Polycom video conferencing equipment. These wonderful devices even come with speakers that can be placed around a large conference table. Now we don’t have to huddle around a single phone to hear what is being said at any given meeting, and the company doesn’t have to pay its employees 50.5 cents per mile to drive to meetings 50 or more miles away.
