Identity theft and secure hard data drive destruction
I am so upset. I had considered using secure hard data drive destruction for my computer, since I had kept my business and tax information on it. Then, I decided that it really wasn’t worth the money since no thief worth his or her salt would steal an identity like mine. After all, I’ve gone bankrupt three times. Well, it looks like I was wrong again. Someone found the information off my computer, which I thought I had sufficiently erased, and stole my identity. They used my name to buy three cars, a house in Mexico, and super expensive kitchenware. I wish I had listened to my instincts!
