People and not just companies are thinking of ways to save. You will notice how many businesses are thinking of ways to save and that would include downgrading office supplies, stricter rules on overtime, Audio Conference Calling, etc.
Even my mom who used to call all her sisters everyday, now resort to conference calls. I know how important it is for her to get in touch with her siblings always. As she was the one who were separated for several years now. I know she misses them now more than ever. Especially when her father died last year. We all rode the plane and went to the province to pay our respects. It was a sad day but thank God for conference calling. At least they do not have to pay so much just to keep in touch.
