When Do Points on Police Records Expire?
Several years ago, I was in a car accident, and since they could find nothing else that caused the accident, somehow I got stuck with the points on my driver’s license record. I am a really good driver and have never even had a speeding ticket (or a warning for that matter). I was wondering how long it took before points expire off of your police records? Is there a set amount of time or does it depend on the infraction? I don’t even know how many points I got, but I don’t like having them on my license at all.
