I am a accountant working in a New York. When my Dad died last month in Florida (and named me executor) I realized that I had no idea how to handle his affairs. A quick Google search…Resources for probate and estate settlement professionals
Led me to the great website EstateSettlement.com the site was very helpful because it had information on the probate process for every state including Florida.
The site also had directory listing for probate attorneys for Florida. With this sites help we were able to get the help we needed and start the probate process long distance.
Because I used the site as reference, I was able to understand what the attorney was talking about. The website was helpful because it “eased my mind” in taking some of the pressure off.
The website also has some great articles on dealing with grief. My favorite was “When a parent dies” it really touched my heart.
