Obvious idea
I’m not sure why we hadn’t thought of it when we were after some cape town accommodation, but eventually the idea dawned on us. We had spent so long looking for a hotel type place with enough spare units for our group before someone suggested renting a house. I know it seems obvious, but none of us had thought of it till then. We found a great house that was around in the western bays. It had a great view of the lake and a big deck at the front which we could have a barbeque and drinks on each night. We have already booked it again for later in the year as we didn’t want to miss out.
