Learning A New Language - My French Experience
Several months ago, I decided that I want to learn a new language. Back then, I was torn between learning how to speak French or Gaelic. Okay, so you know a lot about French, including the people who speak it and which countries have it as their local and native language, but Gaelic? For your information, it’s the mother tongue of the Irish. Yes, the Irish and the Irish brogue. I wished I could learn the two languages at the same time, but then I knew I would be having a hard time in learning both languages that’s for sure.
So I stuck with my first choice which was learning French. Anyway, I have always wanted to learn the language. So what did I do to learn it? I did what any practical and time-conscious individual would do: learn it through the World Wide Web. Hey, in my thoughts, why should I waste my time and money in going to school just to learn French when I can do it in the comforts of my own home, right?
