For Lost Items, Make A Travel Insurance Claim
As the guest services coordinator on a well known cruise line, I wear many hats. Many times I find myself giving people advice regarding what they should do in various situations. One of my most common pieces of advice for people is to make a travel insurance claim. You would not believe the amount of people who lose their belongings while traveling, especially on a ship. I cannot count the number of people I have spoken with who have lost jewelry over the side of the ship. Fortunately, many of these people are covered by travel insurance and can recover the cost of their lost item.
