Binoculars for CLOSEUP Views
Use your bird-watching binoculars for closeup views too. I don’t mean close up as in bring the long distance view to you, I mean when you are close to something and want to magnify it.
Sure most binoculars cannot focus at less than 3 feet when used properly.
But a little science can be a big help here. You can turn those binoculars around.
Yes upside down and look through the big end instead of the eyepiece and they work like a magnifying glass or mini microscope. This is great for viewing flowers or insects up close when you forgot your hand lense.
