Reviewing Comedy Clubs
As a journalist major, I was looking for any work that I could get my hands on. When I found out that a newspaper was looking for some writers, I was really excited. I went and applied and they told me that I had to write a piece for each column so that they can hire someone that was well rounded. I decided to write for the reviews column first because they needed some reviews on comedy clubs in the area and I love going out. I went to a few different clubs and had some really good laughs. When I turned my reviews in, the editor told me that I was at the top of the list for hiring.
