I had my husbands coin painted for our anniversary
For our honeymoon, my husband and I went to the Bahamas. We were there for about a week, so when we went home, we had these Bahamas coins that I haphazardly stashed into a coin bank and forgot about. Ten years later, I came across the coin bank while clearing our closet, about a month before our wedding anniversary. It gave me a great idea for a gift. I had a jewelry maker fashion a set of cufflinks out of it. I also had the set painted, so it ended up very colorful and unique. When my husband opened the box of painted coin cufflinks, he immediately understood what they meant, and it has since become his favorite set.
