House training a puppy for the first time
I love my dogs. I have 3 little Bichons and they own me. When we got our oldest, Jack, it was my first time house training a puppy. We decided to follow a crate training program for him. Puppies are so cute and you want to play with them all of the time but that is not really a good idea. The basic premise of crate training is that the puppy has to earn their free time out of the crate by being good. They need to be accident free and not a menis in the house. Over time they are given more freedom unit eventually they no longer need the crate.
