What Are the Rights for Single Mothers
I have been raising my ten year old daughter by myself as a single mother for the last three years. I have a very good job and work from nine to five Monday through Friday. My mother watches my daughter after school but can not watch her past five o’clock because she has a part time job to. I was told by boss that they were going to need me to stay for overtime but I told him that would not be possible due to my child care. This concerned me and I wanted to know about a single mothers rights. My friend told me they cannot fire me for not staying but I should check out the actual laws.
