Mt parents are experiencing a very difficult time financially. My mom was laid off from her job and they are not sure what they are going to do. They have read about Home Equity Release Schemes and are researching this topic further. They are also looking into a few other options. It is really scary for them because they are so close to retiring and they do not want to do anything that will hurt them in the long run.
