Unfinished Oak Flooring Tip
I just finished installing unfinished oak flooring in my kitchen. As this being my first time I wanted to give a tip that I learned along the way. Not obvious things that you will probably read about in the installation guides, just little things that will make your life easier.
On your floor nailer, be sure to get one with a nylon shoe on it. I had both during my project, the older nail gun seemed to leave a divot, where the nice new one with the nylon shoe left no trace of a tool being there. This section of the unfinished oak flooring ended up absolutely flawless.
