Treatment of Ingrown nails
Ingrown nails are a common foot problem, especially in those who wear tight footwear as this will push the skin around the nail into the nail. When the nail penetrates the skin, it obviously becomes painful, but also acts as a portal for an infection to get in. This can rapidly escalate into a potentially serious problem as the infection can spread. Removing the piece of nail that is growing is considering the initial treatment. After it has been removed the infection usually clears up easily without any treatment. However, there is no treatment for the infection will work until the offending piece of nail is removed.
