Since 1959 Alaska has been applauded by the national and international communities for the quality of its commercial seafood fisheries.  While some species of Alaska seafood may be more famous than others, such as Alaska crab and Alaska salmon, each and every one is protected by Alaskan conservation laws.  With more than half of the commercial seafood harvest for the entire United States coming from Alaska, it’s not easy to provide enough seafood for all the demand while staying sustainable.  To ensure that you support the clean, sustainable Alaskan seafood industry, always look for seafood products labeled as coming from Alaska.  Look for live, fresh and frozen Alaskan seafood and rest assure that your fresh, wild, seafood product will have great texture and taste!
