12/13 Overdoing It
Every year my sister-in-law spends a fortune on Christmas presents for the family. Yet, she puts all of these purchases on credit cards and then spends the whole year paying the cards off. This year she retired and her income has dropped considerably. She is no longer able to make the minimum payments on her credit cards and is struggling to make her household bills. I am taking her next week to speak to a debt relief specialist to see if they can assist her. After the appointment, I plan on taking her to the dollar store to do her Christmas shopping. Hopefully, that will satisfy her buying drive.
