What is a full structural survey?
As opposed to a general building survey, a full structural survey is much more detailed and can stretch to 20 or 30 pages of the report. The structural survey report will include legal aspects, technical language and will also provide diagrams and floor plans, related to the property. The Surveyor Surrey will have to warn you of any aspects that may affect the property and therefore that detail has to go into the report. As there are legal implications for the surveyor if they do not provide you with those relevant details, a fully structural survey can be considered as a very reliable report.
