Rising Up From My Ashes
When my leg was put in cast after the accident, I had no option but to stay at home. Save for some visits to the doctor and the ensuing therapy sessions after the cast was removed, I mostly stayed at home.Initially, I brooded about and got so bored doing nothing all day long. My dad, observing my day-to-day edginess, offered to transfer one of the desktops (台式机 for the Chinese readers)from the family room to my room. I was touched. The desktops have been there in the family room so that anybody (I have four siblings) can use them.Since then, I just surfed the net everyday and I started a blog. It helped me pass time and it served as a therapy for me to get over the accident and to move on. Soon, my dad returned the computer to the family room and surprised me with a laptop. Though I’m used to using desktops, I immediately learned how to use a laptop.
