These days we are learning about the mistakes of the last generation when it came to credit. Many people abused the privilege and thus so many of the credit counseling services now exist. This is a good reality check for those of us just reaching an age where we can get a credit card, because it shows us what happens if we don’t pay attention. Many people also got cards in the past with high interest rates because they didn’t have much choice, but now their are so many companies offering credit cards that you definitely have a choice of competitive APR rates!
