2009 The Year in Earnings
After one of the worst starts in generations to a year, financially speaking, 2009 may end up not being all that bad after all. With the 2nd quarter 2009 earnings reports about to be released starting this week, companies like Google, Johnson and Johnson, International Business Machines, and others are likely to send the stock market headed in one direction or other. If these companies can show that the economic crisis is finally leveling off, than it may not be that bad a 2009 after all. Experts have been claimign that the recession could be over in this quarter. If companies show this leveling off of revenue, than they may be right.
