Medieval Drums are a Fantastic Find!
Now there is a particular branch of the percussion family tree that I have never really been aware of until just very recently. One of my younger buddies was just cruising around on the Internet the other day when he came across a type of drum that he’d never seen before. He showed it to me, and I was unable to tell him exactly what it was! And for a very good reason, too. It’s really the granddaddy of all modern snares, the medieval drums that you can find being produced in different areas of the world. Talk about a fantastic find!
