Labels in a small space will help keep things organized by reminding all studio space-mates what each cabinet/drawer/closet/studio shelf has been designated for. They don’t have to be overtly complicated or too meticulous, and they should be decided together as a studio group conscience. If cabinets and drawers are assigned to individual photographers, it can help a messy artist see when they are the one who needs to reorganize. Every new york wedding photographer who shares a space with other artists needs to adopt this system. Otherwise, there will not only be photo wars, but organizational ones as well, and we can’t have that!
